I have been farming earth friendly in pa for over twenty years. If more people were like us the planet would have a lot fewer problems. keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for speaking at Sardis Baptist Church! What wonderful ideas for saving and reusing. What do you recommend for cleaning up dog accidents on light colored carpet? When do you put the vinegar in the wash - at the beginning of the wash or during the wash?

I miss seeing you on the weather channel in NC! And do miss a lot of things about NC but the weather is awesome here in FL!

Thought you needed to know I will be one of many to find a new web site for weather. Due to your site leaves spy ware on my computer! Double click! Also none of your links at bottom of home page link to what they are supposed to. God Bless

NOTE FROM TERRI: The meaning behind my statement "THE EARTH DOESN'T BELONG TO US, WE BELONG TO IT" is that we all need to be better stewards of the home that God has provided for us to live upon.

On the Kim Jacobs show you stated that the Earth doesn't belong to us, but we belong to it. What does that mean? I belong to God, not the Earth!

Terri, I was disappointed to see how little research you did on the carpet cleaning peice. Steam extraction cleaning (traditional as you put it) also can be done with green detergents and is the cleaning method approved and reccomended by all carpet manufacturers. Your peice has a lot of misinformation that unfortunately the general public won't be able to catch. I am now left to wonder if the info in your other videos was as poorly researched as the info in this one.

NOTE FROM TERRI:We appreciate your feedback and interest. In reference to your concerns regarding the carpet cleaning story, we realize that there are many different chemicals and products that can be used to commercially clean carpets. Our objective is to provide information on the environmental impact of our choices and to provide eco-friendly solutions to make the best choice for your family. That is why we chose to focus specifically on a “greener” carpet cleaning service that uses biodegradable cleaners and significantly less water.

Wow Terri, I expected better. Rather than address my concerns about the carpet cleaning peice you did, you deleted my comment. Again, you were far from accurate and the general public probably doesn't know. I was extremely disappointed with how little research you did and even more so when you just deleted comments correcting some of that info rather than owning up to a job poorly done. So what is your motivation? Is the business you shamelessly plugged owned by a friend or relative or was your story done in exchange for a free cleaning?

WOW! I have always told the folks in my office that we are ordinary people doing extraordinary things. You have to do your own extraordinary things in your own life. It seems you have found your way of making life better for us all. Great Job.

I'm all about the brew. What are your thoughts about good organic wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon's? How do the Napa and Alexander Valley wineries such as Mondavi or the Simi Vineyards stack up to organic wines?

I read your article in the Observer about a month ago on worm poop. Have raised my own worms and their castings for about 5 years. It really is great stuff and recycles table scraps. Meckleburg County Parks and Recreation used to teach a class on how to do it and gave you the worms and conatiner and everything. The best book is "Worms Eat My Garden" by Mary Appelhof. Good Luck

Love your site! I've been a frequent visitor since you left that news program! Did you discontinue the "Night Sky" portion of the site? Not Happy!!

Great videos on the dryer vent and smart strip. (Esp since I'm a friend of Emily's family). Amazing the things we don't know around our own households. I just joined a go green group at my workplace and hope to put the idea of Terri coming to Orlando into the hat. One at a time, thousands can save earth!

Thank you for coming to my afterschool program at Dilworth Elem. today. I am 6 years old. I learned a lot. I told my mom to unplug her work computer. I want to take my old shirts and make bags too. I had fun!

Just wanted you to know that we visit the site often and, of course, follow your Observer items. We have learned lots from you as we are attempting to go as green as possible at homesteads (and the office - you'd be proud of us!). My dad sends best wishes and says he is so proud of you and thinks you've found a great niche. I brag about you more now than before. Keep up the good work(s).

How have I managed to miss 1-1/2 years of great data? Have had several accidental falls the past two years so guess I somehow overlooked this wonderful and informative website. I really have missed your forecast yet my favorite was your tv series--"In your garden" on Saturday mornings, and still have the dvd you gave me when you came out and filmed my watergarden. I learned so much from those series and inspired me to work even more improving watergarden. Keep up your great work!

Met your husband related to doing a marketing program for Metro Honda store.

He mentioned your green inclinations which i share as chair of the Asheville/Buncombe Sustainable Community Council. Loved your bathroom video on water saving.

Might try to get you to come up some time and talk to our sustainability group. We are developing a complete city/county sustainability plan over the next 12 months.

Keep up the good work.
